Our Mandate:
To provide local planning coordination and promotion of educational opportunities for adults in the community
Barrhead Community Adult Learning (BCAL) began in April 2017. Blue Heron Support Services Association (BHSSA) recognized the importance of having life long learning available for the entire community, and now joining with 120 other communities in Alberta with the same mission. Blue Heron is offering programs like Adult Literacy, English Language Learning, Basic Computer skills, and many other programs and services based on the needs of the community.
How to get involved
If you believe that everyone is capable of learning and that learning is a lifelong process, then Barrhead Community Adult Learning is the place for you.
