Blue Heron is always looking for volunteers and have a variety of options for anyone who would like to support us with the gift of their time!

We have had a variety of age and skill levels helping us in many different ways from junior-high/high-school students to semi-retired/retired individuals and everyone in-between!

Our volunteers have helped us in so many ways, such as:

• Working at the New to You thrift store

• Maintenance projects

• Helping at fundraising events such as the concession at the fair days

• Tutoring through our Barrhead Community Adult Learning Program

• Sitting on committees such as the fundraising committee and the satisfaction review committee

• Teaching our clients skills such as wood working, singing, poetry, dance, sports, cooking and more.....
