Slave Lake Services

Blue Heron Started Services in Slave Lake and Area in August, 2012.

 

We have residential 24l7 programming model which facilitates complex needs.

 

(In this model we support families with finding housing, furniture, hiring a team of skilled support staff, building a program of activities, community access, employment supports and other supports that may be determined by the family as needed.)

 

We also provide employment prep and support services (supporting individuals to build resumes, seek employment, supporting how to have successful interviews, learning and maintaining job skills.) as well as community inclusion services. (we connect individuals with groups, organizations, leisure activities, volunteer work so they can be part of the community dynamic.)

 

Currently we employ a dynamic, fun, well versed and skilled a team of 12, most of which has been employed at Blue Heron since we began providing services in this area.
