Alberta Brain Injury Forum 2019

Blue Heron along with St Paul Abilities Network hosted the Alberta Brain Injury Forum.

We are really excited about the speakers coming this year along with the Trauma Informed Care and Self Care theme of learning this year.

What the attendees have to look forward to is:

· A tour of a Residential School – Tour will be given by two people who attended the school

· Shannon Harris- Speaking on Trauma informed Care

· Kim Dechaine-The Balancing Act of Stress and Self-Care

· Suze Casey- Inner Critic to Inner coach

We are very excited to have the opportunity to increase our connections from around the province within the Alberta Brain Injury Initiative and to be able to increase our knowledge to better support the Brain Injury Survivors with regard to self-care and using a Trauma informed approach.
